As Executive Assistant Mel provides high level executive support to our firm and its partners. Mel founded M.B. Duffey & Company in 1980 and acquired ESOP Advisors Group in 2006. Additionally, he was a Partner and the West Coast office for Bottom Line Partners headquartered in Washington D.C. Mel semiretired in 2009 after over 40 years in the Business Consulting field. Today, Mel helps our business to run by providing an experienced presence in our California office.
Mel specialized in business sustainability and succession planning. Over the course of his career, Mel designed and implemented numerous Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), as well as other exit plans. Prior to focusing on Exit Strategies, Mel worked with some of the top companies in the hospitality industry.
